While concentric rotation offers a stable and predictable trajectory, it also results in relatively low sanding efficiency, making it ideal for fine polishing and car waxing. When this parameter is greater than 0mm, the sander's sanding pad's center of gravity deviates from the center of the circle by a corresponding amount, performing a regular, oscillating, compound circular motion. While controlling an eccentric style sander requires certain skills, it offers larger sanding power and efficiency than the concentric style, making it ideal for rapid material removal.

The larger the value, the higher the eccentricity, which reflects the fineness of grinding and the surface treatment effect. The smaller the amplitude, the finer the grinding. This is why we say that concentric rotation sanders are more suitable for fine grinding, while eccentric rotation sanders focus on rapid material removal.
